About the GUILDFORD Association

Our Priorities

The stated priorities of the Guildford Association are laid out in its Constitution. The goals of the Association are to :

  1. Preserve and promote the historic and rural nature of Guildford and its environs
  2. Enhance and protect the quality of life of residents and rate-payers in the area.

Membership

Membership is open to all subject to acceptance of our Constitutional Aims and Objectives.Strong Membership is important to support the work of the Association and provides us with a broad talent base when we need to respond to major issues like the recent Data Centre proposal on the Mandoon Bilya (Helena River), threatened closure of the Guildford Library and the strong constant undercurrent of pressure to widen our bridges.
